Why Is It Important to Read The Catechism

Just as it is very good to read the Bible with your parents, it is a good idea to also read the Catholic Catechism.

The Bible teaches us what is pleasing to Jesus as we read and learn what Jesus taught the Apostles, and through God's Word we learn to be good people.

The Catholic Catechism teaches us how to put God's Word into our actions. It teaches us how to be obedient and what is pleasing to God. The Catechism also teaches us about the Sacraments of the Church.

This is why it is very important that we read and learn the Catholic Catechism alongside the Bible, so that we know fully how to love God and do His Will.

The Catholic Catechism also teaches us what the Sacraments of the Church mean and how they work in our lives and help us to be good Christians.

So it would be a good thing to read the Catholic Catechism everyday with your parents and to learn it at school.
