The Third Commandment- Keep Holy the Lord's Day

Our Lord wants us to have a day of rest, a day when we can put aside our work and just think of how much we are loved by God. That special day is called the Sabbath, the Lord's Day. We go to church on Sunday or Saturday evening to spend time with Our God. The Sacrifice of the Mass is the most perfect act of worship given to us by Jesus. We listen to God's Word at church and pray for each other.

We should not do hard work on the Sabbath. It is day set aside for prayer and rest. We should try to say some extra prayers, do something to help us love God more or simply take a walk to appreciate the many beautiful things God has made for us.
