What is Grace?

When we are Baptized, we receive sanctifying Grace, this means that God lives within our soul.

We receive this Grace because Jesus paid the price for our sins, by taking away our sins by His death and Resurrection on the Cross in our place.

God the Father so loved all people that He sent His Beloved Son so that we may live with God in Heaven. Through God's Grace we are able to know how to please Him by doing God's Will, as God now lives within our souls and helps us to know right from wrong.

Through Grace, we are able with the help of God to do good things and also to receive the Sacraments of the Church, which helps us be good friends with God.

If sometimes we are naughty or we misbehave, this is sin, and because we have sinned we need to go to the Sacrament of Penance so we can once again be Gods friend.

Grace helps us to do good things which pleases God, for Grace comes directly from God.
